Apart from the search terms that you enter for Giphy, nothing that you type is sent anywhere from Tappy. Text predictions are all performed on your own phone.

Tappy does ask you to opt in to analytics, as it helps to improve the app a great deal. This allows me to know what works and what does not. For example, if 90% of people were to use a very small sub-set of themes, I may add some variation on those themes. No analytical data is sold, and nothing that you type is included in the data uploaded.

Tappy also asks you to opt in to crash-reporting, as it helps to keep the app stable and working for everyone. For example, if a certain model of phone keeps experiencing crashes, it allows me to purchase that particular model and investigate. No crash data is sold, and nothing that you type is included in the data upload, though details of your device will be (e.g. make and model).
